Another Ram. This one came to me needing 3M body tape removed from the fenders. I used Meguiar's D300 with a DMC pad for the fenders to clean up where the flares were installed and Meguiar's D300 with a DMF pad for the rest of the truck.

Finished it up with Poorboy's Natty's Black.

Looks great. Must have been Med/Hard paint for D300 and a MF disc to finish that well.

Or was waxing the truck your secret? ;)

No, I was surprised as well. I got the desired correction and it finished out perfect with two slow arm speed, medium pressure passes and two medium arm speed, light pressure passes.

Looks very good. How many hours did you spend on making it look that good?
10 hours give or take spread over yesterday and today.

Another top-notch effort/result. Keep'm coming.

Do all your customers want shiny tires? I use Meguire's, Mother's or Armorall but once on, i come back around and wipe it off. I like the new tire look but not shiny.
Thanks!

No complaints so far on the tires. I think it's what most people prefer, as long as it doesn't sling down the side on their way home.

Is this your job or a paying hobby? Nice work. (y)
Somewhere in between.

My day job is as a base mechanic for an Air Medical Transport provider. Myself and another mechanic share the duties so we work week on, week off. I'm slowly turning my hobby (obsession) into a good chunk of additional income. I've recently decided to take it more seriously and am working on a logo, business cards, business pages, etc.

Superior work! Removing that sticky tape was no doubt a major effort. Great choice with Poorboy's as the LSP. What kind of pad is that? I've not seen one quite like it.
