I have read some excellant reviews of the Mobil 1 Truck and SUV oil. I use it in my fiances beetle and it seems to have quieted the engine down some. I am now considering using it in my 2004 Dodge Neon SXT. The neon has almost 40000 miles on it.
I understand the fuel economy may suffer a little. But that is one of my questions, how much did peoples fuel economy go down, if any, particularly in low horsepower engines (
The main goal would be to quiet down a knock that is notorious on neons. I would be sticking to my 5000 mile oci's atleast until the warrenty was up. Then I may consider Amsoil/Eao filter and a 15000 mile oci. But thats later. I have a little time before I need to make a decision I still have a case of Mobil 1 5w30 that was a parting gift from my old job at jiffy lube.
