Many GM V-8s also had failed IMGs too. Just check the records and internet posts. Nice try at relieving your conscience though. I don't allow my GM V-8s to have Dexcrap circulating for any time at all. Flush it out as soon as I get the vehicle home from the dealership after buying. I buy the G-05 before I even buy the vehicle knowing I'll do this.

I gotta ask, was this engine swapped into this car? There's no such thing as an 03 Regal with a 3.1 from the factory. The Regal came with the 3.8 standard, the Century was the Buick w-body with the 3.1 Maybe a junkyard engine?

Good question. I can't answer that. When I ordered the gaskets I told Napa 03 Regal with a 3.1L and they sent em.

Underhood sticker said it was an 03 with a 3.1L also

Must have been a Century, then. No biggie, just would have changed things if it wasn't an original engine. The Regal and the Century are pretty close in appearance.
