Haha, I used a "throw away" lawnmower for the past 7 years... my Dad found a really nice self-propeller B&S powered (6.5hp?) bagger at the curb on garbage day. He was going to scrap it until I saw it - it was pretty much in excellent aesthetic condition - I begged him to let me take it. Brought it home, changed the oil and put in fresh gas, no start still. Went on eBay and bought a used coil for $11 after finding it had no spark. After that, the thing ran absolutely perfect. I used it up until this past May, where the bag developed a hole and I couldnt find a replacement so I bought a Honda.
I brought it up north to the cabin and use it up there now- What a waste it was to throw the last owner to throw it away!
