Not making light of the dead, but was astounded at a news report tonight.
A guy grabbed a garden gnome, and threw it through the front window of a house that he wanted to burgle.
As he was climbing through the broken window, he slipped and cut his throat on the still standing (6-8") shards of glass in the lower frame.
News showed a veritable waterfall of claret down the front of the house.
Made me think two things:
* why on Earth would you try to climb through a window frame without clearing the shards ?
* if it were my place, and a guy died of a sliced throat on my bedroom window, would I still live there ?
