Hi folks. I have not posted on this site in a few years. My questions relates to Amsoil 2000 racing grease. I searched other post but could not find the answer I need.

First, is this synthetic grease compatible with the oem grease used on my 99 Jeep Grand Cherokee? The shop manual calls for No.2 EP chassis grease. I'm not sure what type of grease this is.

Second question, is Amsoil 2000 grease ok to use for general chassis lubrication such as tie rods, ball joints etc...

I used this grease to repack the front wheel bearings on my 73 corvette with a bearing packer that I purchased from Autozone for $9.99. Good stuff so far. No noise from the wheel bearings after 3 yrs.

Thanks,

Jim

High load moving as an example:

Farm equiptment as in bearings movement. Hard bearing contact as in a pto spreader or soil aerator. You need friction causing metal contact for the moly plating as a friction modifier. A heavy duty grease that doesn't shear but plates the metal surface.
