Could someone please give me a formula to achieve close to 98 octane . Would like to mix aniline to 91 10% ethanol. Yes , I am aware of the dangers of using aniline. I need that minimum octane for a drag bike.

Obviously with a race bikes we do purchase race fuel. It's basically twenty five dollars a gallon. And with a large quantity of aniline. You'd be a fool , not to try it.

Fun stuff.

Aniline is a systemic toxicant absorbed through all major routes of exposure, including inhalation, ingestion, and rapid absorption through the skin. Dermal absorption is particularly significant because the liquid or vapor penetrates the skin quickly, contributing to systemic toxicity even when air concentrations are low. The onset of adverse symptoms following exposure can be delayed for several hours, making it difficult to immediately link the event to the physiological effects.

The most severe acute effect of aniline poisoning is methemoglobinemia. This condition occurs when aniline metabolites oxidize the iron in hemoglobin, converting functional Fe2+ to Fe3+. This renders the hemoglobin molecule incapable of transporting oxygen to tissues. Symptoms, which can be delayed up to 20 hours, include headache, dizziness, fatigue, and cyanosis—a bluish discoloration of the skin and lips. Severe exposure can lead to convulsions, cardiac issues, collapse, and death.

Chronic exposure to aniline poses long-term health concerns, primarily affecting the blood. Long-term exposure can lead to chronic hemolytic anemia, involving the destruction of red blood cells. While human data remains inadequate to definitively link aniline to bladder tumors, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has classified aniline as a probable human carcinogen based on animal studies showing it causes spleen tumors.

What does that have to do with the formula?I am requesting. I stated I know the dangers of using it. Reading comprehension please.

Please no speculation or misinformation. When the firemen picked up their bike last week from the shop. I asked the fireman , the question of possession of the aniline. I was told it must be posted in my m.S d book at all three entrances to my building. I Complied and posted it. Could we get back on the question i asked please.

Reminds me of the days at the motocross track when I was younger, getting to smell Bel-Ray Castor oil. I could get enough of it. Glad the Aniline was not being used when I was there. YOU may know the dangers, but what about the people around the drag bike smelling the exhaust? I trusted Bel-Ray had some data on human inhalation in exhaust gases. Glad you are doing some testing in your garage with your NOVEL octane juice before you allow it around un-knowing people doing their thing at the drag strip. Fireman are great chemist I have heard, good you checked with them. Make sure kids are not around for your NOVEL experiment. "penny wise dollar foolish".

Well first of all , the cans do say moroso octane booster. Second of all , that's a pretty personal attack you're making on me. Are your credentials that you are a respiratory doctor. Second of all, you made the assumption that there are people at the track. You know what that word means. I rent the track for the day. No public in attendance. Please Don't make out landish statements that you have no information about , or you're just hallucinating about..

Well if it is octane boost then you should of said it. I google it and it had nothing of the sort. Yes, I did make assumption after googling what the chemical was. I don't want my kids or even me around some chemical someone is using what I read. When I hallucinate about an octane post, the first thing comes to mind in my hallucination is

" I have a couple large cans of Moroso Octane Boost, would anyone have an idea what ratio of 91 octane 10% ethanol gas to get 98 octane, I don't want to buy $25 gallon racing gas when I have 2 large cans of Moroso Octane boost sitting on the shelf".

Thats what I would hallucinate. It appears other posters answered with their hallucinating thoughts, I was just a bit more blunt.

Well , thank you for admitting you made assumptions. Maybe we can refrain from that in the future. Although ignorance can be bliss and used as a reason for assumptions.

In the future , I will not ask any question about any chemical. I will preface my question with products retail name. This we'll obviously stop any personal attack on me and my character/ moral obligation to society.

This is no different from reloading your own ammo. Just because one worked for me, doesn't mean it's safe for you. If you were given an incorrect formula here, it could have serious complications.

I'm a grown man I don't really need you to lecture me. It's a retail sold product. That is why I am asking on this site for a formula. So I take it you just want to run your mouth. If you cannot answer my question please refrain from commenting. Could we please stop the hysteria.

I believe the below chart is for 92 octane unleaded fuel. It's the only one i have found so far.

YES. Aniline is a very dangerous chemical that I would avoid for sure. No reason for anyone to be fooling around with it. I am not even sure if average person can even get a hold of it in any forms. I worked with the stuff for about 8-10 years and we had to use extreme caution and safety precautions any time using it. DEADLY stuff.

All I can say is you’re taking this pretty rough. Perhaps back the truck up a bit and look elsewhere if you’re not getting the answers you want here.

The OP asked a specific question, and to be fair, didn't get what he sought. Instead, he got warnings, which although perhaps appropriate, were not answering his direct question.

Since it seems no one here can or will give out the specific info he seeks, there's no reason to continue.
We're done here.
