Amsoil Signature Series 0W-40, API SP, New Oil Reference.

Here is the next oil I will be trying. The last run of Amsoil's European 0W-40 for 11k performed very well considering the GDI high fuel dilution.

The TBN for this oil is 12.5, and Viscosity Index is 184. Attached is the spec sheet.

Looks good. High oxidation shows a good bit of ester. That's a lot of boron EP.

Polaris Lab said they same thing, Ester based additive packages will show an initial high oxidation reading. The boron gets used up quickly in this GDI engine, settles down about 80-90ppm.

Thick 0w40.

This GDI engine will knock it down to 13.5 pretty quickly, and then level out.
