Amsoil Series 2000 and lower oil pressure

Just swapped out Amsoil Series 3000 for 2000. With the 3000 i was getting alittle over 50 psi at 60 mph now im getting alittle lower than 50 psi. It goes to show that the 3000 is in fact thicker.

That's right. The Series 3000 is a little thicker than Series 2000 at operating temps. Amsoil freely publishes this data on their website.

Yeah, about 10% thicker in terms of high temp, high shear rate viscosity, which generally correlates to oil pressure.
