Amsoil Power Steering Fluid

I've got about 6k miles on a full flush of the system in my Audi with the AMSOIL power steering fluid. Original fluid was the CHF-11s, and I've noticed no difference good or bad. I did it in January after a timing belt change, and had no problems with the sub-zero weather in Wisconsin.

That's a good tool.

May I suggest however, that you do not suck the reservoir dry to avoid possible air entrainment. Same goes for the Turkey Baster method.

Leave about an ounce in the bottom of the reservoir and then fill about 1/8" over full with new fluid. Run it about 100 miles+, then drain (minus an ounce) it again.

You may ask, how can I see I have left just an ounce? Use a flashlight and observe that the last ounce will generally just cover the suction tube in the servoir.

Do this until the fluid becomes clear. At last fill, fill only to cold mark, run engine again, and check level. Adjust as necessary.
