Anyone know if this can be used with drip irrigation? I've been using fish emulsion without any problems, but was wondering if this would clog my filter. It looks to be more balanced than the emulsion product I am using.
I have used it in the past and had a few people use it as well. It really perks things up. I think it's pretty good stuff. I have used it watering in the soil and spraying it on the outside of the plants and was happy with both methods.
It does have some odor, but it's not too bad. If you use it on houseplants you can notice the odor more.
The Sea Kelp gives it good kick. I do notice that it's hard to get all the product out of the bottle.
I'm cheap and like to get my monies worth, so I rinse out the bottles.
I have used the sprayer that screws on the 1 qt bottles. It clogs sometimes though. I bought the sprayer nozzles many years ago. Maybe they have new ones now.
I agree it's kind of chunky at times. But the stuff beats chemical fertilizers.
I use it and like it a lot.
Wish I would have used it more, but it seemed to do great for our crops, for how much I used.
It is thick and smells rough, but that's all the good stuff in it!
I'd highly recommend trying it, especially if you are used to using Miracle Grow or something similar. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

I have diluted it with water in another empty bottle. It seems to work OK.
I just don't add water to any that I will not use immediately.
How fine is the filter?
It's a fine mesh filter. I am currently using Alaska Fish Fertilizer and it is like a pretty thick liquid. There aren't any particles big enough to be trapped in the filter and I haven't had any problems with emitters clogging.
Also, I was curious what the application rate was on the Amsoil fertilizer? The Alaska Fish Fert is 2 tablespoons per 25 sq ft every 3-4 weeks, according to the label.

Found this thread through a search. Thanks to Gary Allan for the mention.
The stuff works. Once you understand the biology behind it you will see why. Increased microbial activity gives allows more nutrient absorption to the plant.
