So how does this compare to carquest premium?

Carquest Premium is a synthetic blend.. this Amsoil is full synthetic so it compares to Carquest EP Synthetic.

Only thing we know if the box info is correct in the link in post 1 is that they are 99% @ 20u and rated for 25K miles. They will most likely be similar to the Carquest Extended Protection full synthetic filter.

AMSOIL website does not list a recommended filter for my Mazdas. Maybe that will change soon.
