Oil Filter Update
Feb. 27, 2026
As previously announced, one of our filter manufacturing partners unexpectedly halted production of most filters, including AMSOIL Oil Filters. This manufacturer served a large percentage of the filter market and its abrupt shutdown left many in our industry scrambling.
We acted swiftly to secure oil filters for our Dealers and customers to ensure uninterrupted supply. Just like during the COVID pandemic when our competitors ran out of oil and AMSOIL maintained supply, we are coming through for you again now.
We secured a large shipment of WIX and WIX XP Oil Filters to ensure your customers have what they need to complete their maintenance tasks. As individual AMSOIL Oil Filters run out of stock, we will recommend the appropriate WIX replacement in their place.
This is a temporary solution. While we will continue carrying WIX Oil Filters in the future, we will discontinue carrying WIX XP Oil Filters when our AMSOIL Oil Filter supply is back to full strength.
We will provide regular updates as inventory of individual AMSOIL Oil Filters is depleted. As of today, the following AMSOIL Oil Filters are out of stock:

Hey Pablo if I wanted to buy Amsoil off the shelf in the Bellevue and Tacoma area, which stores would carry the premium Euro 0w40 or 5w40?

You could get free shipping

But for a few qts try some Napa stores
Free shipping sounds nice but often times a visit to the parts store is the highlight of my day, thanks for the Napa recommendation

I know I've said it before, but I'm telling ya, customers that were with First Brands are now going to be talking to Premium Guard! No product buyer of those companies is going to ignore that good quality we keep seeing when they're cut apart.

Pablo, I just placed an order including 2 of the EAO11 oil filter. It was shown as available on the site. I assume the site will indicate only the Wix filter as a choice if the Amsoil filter is out? Can you clarify? Thanks.

Yes unless someone seconds before you ordered a bunch of EaO11's, that is what should ship

I should have taken photos, just changed the oil in the '19 Express today, the $2.50 AMZN TL12222 with Service Pro Dexos full syn 5W30 held up great, some carbon in the bottom of the can, basically no waves, nitrile ADBV still flexible, 7100 miles/~4.5 months, mostly highway, but some good old 'Nati redline interstate merges too! And that's the CHINESE PG, not even the better Vietnamese one! The Fram Drive FD10060 is next, there will be photos of that one.

The XP is advertised as the better one now with the upgraded media, surprised they would drop it.
Says they would drop the Wix XP when the Amsoil branded filters are available again - The XP is a temporary substitution. Amsoil wants to sell filters branded as Amsoil.
