As previously announced, one of our filter manufacturing partners unexpectedly halted production of most filters, including AMSOIL Oil Filters. This manufacturer served a large percentage of the filter market and its abrupt shutdown left many in our industry scrambling. We selected new filter manufacturing partners several months ago and the interim period has been spent qualifying vendors, validating performance and tooling up a factory. Now, we are happy to report that new AMSOIL Oil Filters will start becoming available soon. The list below shares projected availability of each filter in the AMSOIL line. Actual dates may vary. In a few instances, we are receiving a temporary supply that will run out after a few weeks. Those filters are noted below, along with a rough estimate of when each is expected to return to the lineup permanently. Bear in mind that it takes five to nine days to fully stock all distribution centers, so availability will be staggered throughout the U.S. and Canada as the filters arrive. We will provide regular updates on filter availability in the Dealer Zone as they begin rolling in.

Sure sounds like PGI? Will be interesting.
"We selected new filter manufacturing partners several months ago and the interim period has been spent qualifying vendors, validating performance and tooling up a factory."

Sure sounds like the current PGI consolidating the Champion Lab/Fram manufacturing plant. Stretch? I don't think so. I'm sort of surprised? they didn't get out of there when they were taken over. I think several of us were disappointed. PGI best thing that could happen to our current situation that we're all seeing on the ground. I mean who else could it be? We all know this is a small manufacturing market on the U.S. side. I'd certainly imagine Amsoil would want a good U.S. based partner.

Ok, the suspense is getting me... 😁

Things are looking up though.

Hard to tell by the pics who the new manufacturer is. Can’t wait to find out!
The stamping on the dome doesn't look like a PGI type of layout (zoom in for a look on the first link), and the crimp seam is painted. But those things could have been specified by Amsoil. As @fantastic mentioned, wonder if PGI is firing up the old Champ Labs factory with new tooling to put out a PGI type of product.

Exactly. As Napa just dropped the new Platinum that has the same specs. A properly made Endurance!!! I mentioned this in the Napa Platinum thread. Amsoil and Napa could definitely keep a factory busy!!

A Fram version could be coming soon.

Side of the box has an American flag ... so maybe another clue it could be Champ Labs factory firing back up.

Wait, so was it taboo to say here that Amsoil filters were just re-branded Frams ?
Joking right?

Amsoil has never that I know of listed suppliers by name and never were all the filters "re-branded Frams".

EDIT - One exception: They had to mention Donaldson because some marketing agreement way back when
