Hi guys, hoping to get a better response here than on my usual tundra forum.

My truck's a 2000 toyota tundra 4x4. The FSM calls for moly-lithium grease on one of the universals and regular lithium grease everywhere else. Amsoil's website lists this grease for use on my truck, but I wanted to make sure it will work since it isn't lithium based.
Here is the grease I was thinking of using:

Thank You!

Why would you use the third one down on the list? I'd use the first choice:
http://www.amsoil.com/shop/by-product/grease/dominator-synthetic-racing-grease/?code=GRGCR-EA

The one you've chosen is used on boats, wheel bearings, etc.

The Dominator has no moly but if you're consistent with greasing the zerks it'll be great. The moly is there for people that forget to grease and it's a long term last resort additive. I had asked Amsoil if I could use the Dominator on the section that required 'moly'.

I had an old Tacoma and religously greased the 8 or 9 zerks on the drive shaft. It also called for moly based grease on the one spider yoke section.

You can't go wrong with Amsoil but go with the Dominator grease over the boat stuff.

Ok great, I had been drawn to the water resistant grease at first because there are times when I'm launching a boat where the truck is up to the running boards in water. However, since the dominator is also water resistant, it should fit my needs. Thanks!
