I replaced my stock air filter element on my 02 F-150 truck with a K&N element and could tell a difference. I then found a test where Amsoil foam filters flowed better. I bought one and installed it. I had to clean my MAF with the K&N to improve the idle. I haven't had to do that with the Amsoil one yet. The air box is modified where the element is open to the air instead of restricted with the factory opening.

I think Amsoil makes top notch products, and if they made an air filter to fit my toyo truck I would be using it.
Amsoil has not made foam filters for 2-3+ years....where did you get the filter?
I ordered the filter thru my local parts store that carries Amsoil products. It was probably laying in aa warehouse they deal with. They carry a limited line of their products along with other lines to satisfy their customers. I buy from them since I don't have to buy a case of stuff and pay shipping. I see there's a dealer listed in the next city over so I'll probably check with him about getting the newest one.
