sure, but AEL has never had the highest HTHS. it is not remarkable.
maybe you didnt understand my post at all.
the reason why edyvw gives us all these info ,is to understand that:
highest HTHS by its one ,its not always revealing a better oil.the combo the highest hths possible the lowest KV does ,among other things i mentioned. its almost an unmistakable rule.and i say almost bcs. there is one rule above all:
the final product is all that matters.
but 98% that rule stands.
so you are claiming that, the highest HTHS is the best oil ,thats an old scientific conclusion, there are new evolutions, new recipes of oil ,modern oils, where a lower hths can be stronger than a much higher bcs. of other parameters such as better base oils or /and additives ,meaning thinner but more quality oils and thus more stronger than those conventional 16KV, 4,5HTHS.
we are talking here about euro oil,so for a euro oil 3.5 is quite strong for daily commute considering that euro recipes include other parameters that i mentioned.
if want to track a car then you go for a different recipe, you have other choices and yes there you need higher hths, but still its not hths that matters only, combination rule stands there too, thus all these good euro oil that he mentioned with hths close to 3.8-3.9.
if you search on google an interview with redline's president then he will confirm to you that an hths more than 4.0 is not needed for tracking theri cars too.MODERN OIL,welcome to this world.forget the bigger the better...
i hope you understand..
