Here are pics of an AMSOIL EaO34 oil filter from my parents' 2003 Toyota Camry with the 1MZFE engine. The car has roughly 156,000 miles on it and the OCI for the oil (AMSOIL AZO 0w30) and filter was 14,131 miles with approximaetly 60 hwy / 40 city driving. Enjoy. P.S. - The scratches on the filter decal are from a Filtermag. [img:center]

Well no matter what people think about Amsoil and they're marketing strategy,or some poor dealers they certainly make a quality product.
No rips,tears,deformed pleats,not a single defect visible.
You get what you pay for.

True in most things still thankfully , Nice thanks for the cut and view of a top dollar filter.

It was wix however I'm not sure who makes them now. The manufacturer makes them to Amsoil's specs,so no matter who it is they've gotta be made according to design.

I know the media is re-badged Donaldson however I don't think the filters are made by them.
I'm not sure though. I know they were wix 2 years ago but I read last year the manufacturer had changed, though I cannot confirm.

Baldwin makes Amsoil Oil filters to Amsoil specs....

thats what I have been told and read..

but you know oil filter companies..

They go to the lowest bidder...

well at least some do.

My last amsoil oil filter looked identical and had same markings as my mobil 1 filter. The actual filter media was the only thig that looked different. I think mobil are made by champion

What price range are these filters in?

The standard cost is $17.30 without tax or shipping for this particular model, which is oversized for the application. Preferred customer cost is $13.15. Since I buy most of my parents' oil and oil filters, the PC cost is worth it for me.

Mobil 1

Champion Laboratories Inc. - Mobil Branded Filters

Do you have any pictures of the inside of the can with the filter mag? Or can you at least verify it caught something? I ran a filtermag on my last OCI and still had a good amount of iron in the UOA.
