I'd like to move over to Fram Endurance filters from what I presently use which is Amsoil EaO. But I can't find much cross reference information, only one filter here or there.

Do Fram filters use consistent numbers between models? Like, the same number with "FE" in front of it?

Is there a list somewhere? Or a resource?

https://www.oilfilter-crossreference.com/ doesn't seem to have Endurance filters listed yet.

1) You did not list a Part Number
2)What is the Amsoil EAo part number?
3) Fram Endurance Oil Filters have issues
4) There is something that only ZeeOSix can tell you about the Fram Endurance Oil Filter and the Amsoil EAO Oil Filter, you will be surprised, Members that are new, get your Popcorn and Soda!

More info & we can help. Just know the FE is on its way out from WM.

Did you use the vehicle look-up on tool on Fram's website to see which one they spec?
Yes, I can find all the individual cars but some stuff I have aren't listed. Off label, if you will, things that you can't look up, like generators, lawn mowers, industrial air compressors. I have a filter number but not a make and model I can look up.

1. The cross reference site doesn't seem to have FEs listed.
2. I have a bunch of them. I keep a spreadsheet.
3. What issues? You can't just say issues and then not mention any of them.
4. I don't know who that is but I am intrigued. Can you, you know, post a link to a thread or something?

I have no love for Walmart. I don't care about sources, I care about prices and quality. Walmart is convenient if I want to buy a whole list of them at once. But if they're around, I'll get them from somewhere else.

As far as more info, I don't know what you want. I'm looking for a cross reference that includes both Amsoil Ea filters and Fram FE filters. I haven't found one.

Does the cross reference show any Frams? The only difference in the Fram model lines is the prefix on the filter number. In other words, all Fram 7317 models regardless if it's a FE, XG, PH or TG prefix will all fit the same engine.

It doesn't sound like you're aware of what's going on. FRAM Endurance filters are a Walmart "Exclusive" item so if you don't like WM then it'll be difficult to buy them. However, From forum posts on here, it appears that Fram Endurance is being discontinued at WM to be replaced by new Purolator 20,000 mile oil filters. That means you won't be able to buy FE's unless Fram is allowed to & or decides to offer it elsewhere in the future. That comparison site you linked has been notoriously wrong from my own experience but could give one an idea of what to look for. As to why they didn't decide to list FE's I'm not sure. I'm unaware of any other comparison sights. Yes, Fram uses similar numbers for their filters.

Good info, that's what I'm looking for, thanks. That's helpful.

Shucks. Amsoil 20 crosses to PH9688, but the one that's on there now is a Baldwin B421, which crosses to PH3593A and PH6811.

There is no FE6811 that I can find, nor is there a FE3593A.
