I have a 95 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 that I drive about 15k a yr.
I wanted to know if there is a differece or better motor oil between the (XLT)XL-7500 10w30 and the (ATM)10W-30 synthetic besides that one is 25,000 mile drain interval and one is 7,500 mile drain interval.

Wouldn't someone want the longer drain interval either way?

The ATM uses a fully synthetic base oil and a better additive package geared towards longer drains, while the XL7500 series is designed for shorter drains and uses a hydrocracked petroleum base and a lesser quality add pack. For a few cents more, the ATM is definitely worth it.

The price difference is so small, less then 50 cents/quart I believe that it is a no brainer, Go with the ATm full synthetic 10W30. Unless of course you have huge concerns about warranty as the XL has the API donut the rest of the Amsoil clan does not. However, your 95 is way out of warranty.
