Amsoil ATF as a PSF ?

So im going to drain PSF from my Mazda 3 and fill it with Amsoil Universal ATF ... anyone have expirence how that ATF perform as a ATF ?

Actually, the Amsoil ATF performs well as an ATF

But I have no idea how it will perform as a PSF...

I use Amsoil ATF as a PSF and love it. It works very, very well.

Why don't you just use the Amsoil PSF?

what year is your mazda? check the amsoil application guide and see if they recommend atf or psf for your power steering.

I use the Amsoil ATF in my 05 Mustang GT. It calls for Mercon V in both the AT and PS. It has worked fine with no problems. Check to see what your Mazda needs. Do not use ATF where it calls for PSF.

It will work for your Mazda.


I have used it in Ford apps for years and it works very well. Holds up nice. Works very well for any application that it can be used in, automatic transmissions etc.

I recently did this on my Ford truck. PSF was original with 40k miles on it. Should have done it 20k ago.

I use it in 4 different car's PS with no problems. To include one that specs. PS fluid.
