amsoil 10w40 vs amsoil 10w40 high performance

I just ordered the Hi performance oil for my acura integra. I figure it would be better then the regular stuff, Any info on what the difference is? Would it be as good as there 5w40.

I'm not sure what oils you are comparing. The XL vs. the full PAO? You didn't happen to get the product code? Who did you order from?

Neither is as good as the more modern 5W-40.

Sorry its the {Xlo}XL vs the High po stuff {Amo}sae.

I figured less of a weight spread would be better then the 5w 40??

In general that may be correct especially when talking petroleum oils.

The AFL uses better base oils than the 10W-40.
