which would be better in my wife's 2003 2.7 4cyl toyota tacoma? i know analysis is the only way to know this, but what does everyone think?
i am a dealer and price is no object but i will try to do amsoil's recommended intervals w/ analysis.
so what's better their asl 5w30, hdd 5w30 or 0w30?
she does alot of short trips and mixed driving.

i am in new england and am currently using the 0w30
thanks

I'm not an Amsoil guy, but the question will come up. About how many miles will she put on every three months and or for an entire year.

You said short trips and mixed, but how about total mileage????

I run the 0w-30 in 2 Saab turbos, 1 Volvo turbo, and a Dodge 350 van. My kids run 0w-30 in 3 Volvos, 2 Saabs, 1 Subaru.

When the 0W-30 became available, years back, my son-in-law changed from AMSOIL 10w-30 to the 0W-30. Called me a couple months later to say he was getting 50-75 miles more per tankful before the red light came on telling him to get gas.

I move about as much 0w-30 as 5W-30 and 10W-30 combined (except to shops)
