Went to a BBQ at a friend's house. Upon arriving I noticed a nail in the center of the RF tire and its leaking air. Ran the car over to America's tire.

Absolutely no place to park so I parked down the street and walked in 105F heat.

Got there @1:30p and was told they can't take in any more work today. Walked back and started calling around. All americas tire stores are full for the day.

Found a tire choice that said 2 hr wait so here I am waiting.

Just my luck. Missing a bbq....

Unfortunate. Saturdays are difficult to get anything unexpected done without an appt beforehand.

I do remember when it wasn't too hard to get a flat repaired at a nearby service station or truck stop

Why would this be surprising ? Most people work M-F so Saturdays are often the only day they have for work like this. I've even dropped a wheel and tire off that needed patched and before I tell them it's off the vehicle, I've been told it will be hours, but once I tell them I'm leaving the wheel and tire and that I don't need to pick it back up until the end of their work day, it works out.

Last time I went on a Saturday I was in and out. Too many people have moved into my area recently.
