Amazing AGM battery

So are people on the East Coast just lucky that East Penn is in PA (I think)? So they supply a lot of private brand labels like Walmart and NAPA and West Marine?

Who manufactures the Walmart and NAPA and West Marine batteries on the West Coast? No West Penn?
Probably Clarios. Huge facility in Mexico.

13 yr old Odessey in my Harley. Zero issues all last summer, on a BM when in garage. It replaced the 10 yr old OEM Harley battery for age not cranking ability. I think the OEM battery was an East Penn built one since bike was built in York PA.
I will load test it in the spring, I shouldn't be a cheapskate with a bike with no kick start.

Can you go down a hill and start it that way? Works unless you live in Delaware where it's flat.

Yes or have a couple of ''bro's'' push you fast enough to ''pop'' start it like a car. 800 lb bike not including rider is not fun to push start. And hope you're not on gravel so rear tire doesn't skid.

i use a C-Tek 4.3 muse charger, settings for bikes- cars-recondition, nothing about AGM or other. replaced a napa agm at 9 yrs, but a bad alernator i replaced prolly the issue, my 10 YO flooded interstate got replaced "just because" + IMO unless you drive a LOT keeping a battery charged on a good charger = LONG life!!

My cheapo U1 Everstart for my zero turn measures high as well. I throw a charger on it once and awhile and test it a week or so later and still get 12.79 and holding a 100% charge. I’m not complaining one bit as I’m sure a cell will short and that will be that.

I have a AGM flat plate battery for my boat that was put in the boat in May or June. Fully charged before it was put in. It sat unused and uncharged until today in the boat.

It's 580 CCA.

My Ancel says it's 12.82 volts and is 98% charged and the current CCA is 900. Not sure about the 900 CCA.
I believe the 12.82 volts.

It's for the bow thruster that has yet to work.

I think the open circuit voltage is somewhat dependent on acid concentration and purity of the plates. What means for potential life, who knows.
