Pour points according to the Shell website:
Full Synthetic 5W-40: -36 Degrees C
Conventional 15w40: -40 Degrees C
So I am seeing a synthetic oil with a 5W rating that has a higher pour point than a conventional oil with a 15W rating? Do I have the wrong idea of how pour points work? Just a little confused here.
