I wouldn't assume that. The oil filter that's on there now will almost certainly have some, but fewer chips.
Amazing that there are any at all. Or maybe not I guess.
My experience with new vehicles is it takes about 20k miles for all the machining chips to make it to the filter.
wow 20k. I would have thought they would be more proactive about getting chips out, but then again.....
I reckon those chips are not small enough to get in between stuff anyway.
