St Louis County has almost 100 municipalities some which exist only to grab money from poor people. Numerous post Ferguson lawsuits resulted in some police consolidation. Still too many villages where Pop is the chief of police and Mom runs a liquor store and doubles as traffic judge. Only a slight exaggeration. What’s a Police Cooperative? I’m guessing not a full blown police officer?
These are new at a St Charles County dealer. Didn't even buy locally. Is it a forfeiture vehicle?
From my understanding the Dodge Chargers have solidified the front end issues when they first rolled out police fleet sales. The initial Chargers were one of the worst vehicles I've seen in my 20+ years as a cop. Engine issues too but it was the front ends that were constantly failing. And the replacement parts failed as well. Newer ones seem to be much better and reliable.
There will be more and more of this in the future.
You'd think it would have cost more to put cages in those than the vehicle savings would be since it would have to be a custom job. I doubt any outfitters make an off the shelf cage for them. Unless those are supervisor cars without cages.
Probably more comfortable than the three wheel motorcycles they used to drive way back when.
I didn’t know they had snow in New Mexico I thought that was all desert and hot year round lolPre pandemic, I traveled to Roswell NM often. Would visit Ruidoso NM casinos. Ruidoso police used 4x4 Jeep’s as police cars. Lots of heavy snow at their 6000 ft altitude.
Those are the steel wheels, with weird looking silver and black plastic covers. Same exact thing as was on the 2020 Altima I just rented. Fitted with 215/60r16 Hankook Kinergy GT tires in my case.Sporty wheels for a cop car though. Thought they'd probably spec and pay extra for a downgrade to steelys so as not to look ostentatious.

Right? Like said above, the lighting and electronics alone are many thousands.
It would be interesting to see how these do in this kind of service compared to something like a Charger or Exploder.
One thing Nissan always has going for it IMO is seating comfort.. For the driver and front passenger atleast. LOL
It is bcs. off road access. JEEP is miserable vehicle in snow unless Cherokee.Pre pandemic, I traveled to Roswell NM often. Would visit Ruidoso NM casinos. Ruidoso police used 4x4 Jeep’s as police cars. Lots of heavy snow at their 6000 ft altitude.
