2015 Highlander -- rubber plugs for the rear WMS to access parking brake adjustment.

Looks like OEM is 47491-22020

Is anyone aware of anything equivalent from a more accessible source like O'Reilly or AutoZone etc?

Not that I have seen. All of the generic ones are either rectangular or have a bulge on the end.

Ok, my Toyota dealer actually picked up the phone (seriously twice in the past the front counter transfers me and it just rings like 50x then hangs up on me)

They don't stock it  but I got one ordered for $7.48

Just order online... parts.toyota.com. Choose your local dealer and order for in store pickup. Saves $$$

wow that's really sad.. it's about $4 list price around here in Michigan.. I have that same plug on my tC's rear disc "top hat". I've not found anything cheaper than that, the aftermarket was more $$.. sorry you had to pay that much.. ☹️

Pfft the next best was $11 on ebay. I actually would have done that if I could afford the shipping time.

Now I've gotta find a way to my dealer to get the part, minimum hour round trip if I don't get distracted by other errands

I stopped in at Nissan after I paid $9 on eBay. I bought 6 for $13. Of course when I need one I’ll never be able to find it.

Ok well after much grumbling, whining and complaining I finally obtained the elusive plug yesterday. This does not mean I'll stop grumbling, whining or complaining.

I did find a knock-off two-piece set on Amazon for $15 and am going to try -- for science and all that. I still have the old rotors so I'll see how they fit when they come in. Just to have on hand for future use.
