Alternate uses for unused motor oil?

So I have quite a bit of unused (but old) engine oil - mostly the classic German Castrol and some M1. These are at least 10 years old - maybe 15.

I don’t intend to use it in my car (don’t want to argue reasoning - peace of mind being the top concern)

Wondering what (if any) alternate uses exist for this kind of oil ? Old but unused … can this sub for any other lubrication use around the house ? I’d rather try to repurpose this before I take it to the used oil recycle place.

I would put the German Castrol 0W30 on here for sale-there will be people lining up to buy it!
Hmm really? I’m talking circa 2010 batch when I was crazily emptying every Autozone in a 50 mile radius. 🤣 old timers probably remember that craze

Mix with diesel or gas and burn some cedar trees. Just kidding, I like the smell of cedar, and despite the common thought that it is a nuisance it is extremely beneficial to soil richness and wildlife.

I was going to suggest using it to light large bonfires.. haha Works well for me.

I use it on my bicycle chain. I also use it when I am cleaning my bicycle chain. I also use it in my oiler.

Buy one of this. I have one and it's always full of used oil. Comes in handy. I used it to lube the hinges and ball rollers on my car garage several days ago.

Has anything settled out? Keep a jug or two for bike chains, or old mowers, but I would give it to someone to use in a older car, as I doubt there's anything sufficiently wrong with the oil to matter much? Especially in your climate, even if its acting like 15W30, or a 15W20 or straight 20W, they are all fine above freezing in something like my Focus.
I found an opened bottle of 20W50 in my Dad's shed that's likely 30 years old and it looks, pours, smells like new oil would. I think I was using it in the gear box of my 1984 IT200 dirt bike in the early 90's? Or maybe Dad put it in the oil burning 1989 Caravan!
Anyways some of it went into the leaky chain case of the old 250 ski doo last week.... Kids put 5 gallons of gas through it in 2 days...

Where did you unearth this, "quite a bit of unused (but old) engine oil"?

No judgement here, just curious. Corner of the attic? Deceased persons garage?
lol it was my own stash - life happened in those years that prevented me from using them. I always knew which corner they were stashed in - just didn’t open it or use it.
