Allison 1000 filter cut open

This filter is 6-7 years old...miles unknown not high though...guessing 30k.

The case is thick, 2x a normal filter.. no adbv. The fluid just looked ok but the magnet had so little clutch material on it and this filter is in nice shape.

I always figured that can was thick. Those filters have some weight to them.

Always good to see,low metals when peeling open the transmission.
