Go to this website. He has 1,129,204 miles on a 1997 E-250 Van with original engine, transmission. Neither has been rebuilt. The website is http://www.millionmilevan.com/. Reading that his longest oil change was 55,000 miles on dino oil is absolutely amazing, but how many of you BITOG users would of liked to see a UOA on that one? Check it out!

Pretty interesting, but let's not ignore this: "I have to add a quart of oil every full tank of gas so there is always some new oil in the pan"

Fill the oil,and check the gas right??

He probably just disconnected the speed odometer cable, and took a drill to put what looks like that amount of miles on it.....

My old cube mate always ran valvoline in his ford light trucks(v6). He always got over 300K service without opening them up. He does drive like grandma though - engine never goes above 2500 rpm.

Gets his repairs at Mytee Discount.
Can't afford to get the AC fixed for 5 years.
Has a perpetual oil change with a qt every 400 miles.
But I guess it's possible.
