Everyone tells me they're a techology and automation company, yet FSD is crap and the automatic wipers always have a mind of their own. I'd think they'd either be able to handle the basics or really ace the complicated stuff. There's some smart design that's ahead of some and some of the basics were figured out by car companies 20 years ago. Don't get me wrong, I love the car but there's some really dumb things it does that don't make sense, yet I love the interface and how it drives.
That tech stuff is what is supposedly holding the stock high. I heard some expert investor say that Tesla is leaning heavy into automation and thinks the bot thing they're supposedly making is going to revolutionize the world. I don't think there's much truth to that, though I'm obviously not an expert investor that researches all of these crazy tech companies.
