AISIN T-IV ATF Input wanted

I have used Valvoline and Castrol multi-vehicle fluid in my Aisin A340E automatic transmission, as well as the OEM fluid (Aisin/Toyota T-IV, Mobil 3309). The Valvoline and Castrol did not cause any problems but I did notice a difference in shift quality: slightly more slippage / less positive engagement. After several of these experiences with different fluids produced consistent results, I have decided to use the OEM fluid going forward, well worth a few dollars more IMO. I already pulled the pan and replaced the filter and gasket, going forward I'm doing a drain/fill (4 quarts) every 30k. Pretty cheap insurance.

Countless professionals have said it: engines are expensive, oil is cheap. Same applies to transmissions.

I called Aisin and they told me their T-IV was the exact same as Toyota T-IV.

I only pay $4.50/qt for Toyota T-IV from my Lexus dealer.

If you decide to purchase from Rock Auto, play with the number of qts and see how it affects shipping. You may be amazed as the shipping cost is not linear.

To clarify, I only use Toyota T-IV. My goodness, the price is right and I know it is the REAL deal.
