I can sign on with my computer 24 hours before the flight. Does it make any difference whether I sign on one second after the 24 hour mark or one hour? Thanks so much from those who fly frequently. Ed
If you are at the 24 hr mark, yes.I am flying SouthWest and I don't pre purchase a seat. Chris M. seems to state that I should log on ASAP?
Well for American Airlines...nope...does not matterI can sign on with my computer 24 hours before the flight. Does it make any difference whether I sign on one second after the 24 hour mark or one hour? Thanks so much from those who fly frequently. Ed
It does for us when we are flying Sou
Personally, for SWA, I wait 24 hrs + 3 sec.
I almost always get an aisle seat within the first 12 rows.
Be aware that after you push your ENTER key at 24 + 3, you'll have to confirm one more thing before ENTER once again. Good luck on your seat assignment BINGO.
I was like A6 one day. Was 20th to board. A guy like 5’7 in front of me as we walk towards middle and exit row. I see the exit row seat is empty in front and my eyes light up. As we get to the row, the piece of **** goes, “oh wow, look at that legroom, man! Wahoo!” and almost runs to the seat. There was a FA about 5 rows in front of us watching and he saw the joy and happiness leak out of my face with the hatred and burning heat of a 1,000 suns. He gave me one of those little lip purses like, “I understand completely and I’m actually legitimately sorry for once but he got there first…….Ya got that right! They cram you in like sardines on Southwest's planes, on pretty much every seat (except for the escape seats).
Yes - Log on at the first possible second. By the first minute, many of the positions in the cattle call boarding process will be gone.I am flying SouthWest and I don't pre purchase a seat. Chris M. seems to state that I should log on ASAP and JayhalkRoy say yes also. I will have my finger on the Enter key at 24 hours. + 1 second. Thank you. Ed
I refuse to fly Cattle Car (Southwest) Airlines.Yes - Log on at the first possible second. By the first minute, many of the positions in the cattle call boarding process will be gone.
You'll line up by group - then it's a free-for-all to get a seat. The closer you are to the front of theherdgroup - the better your options will be when you board.
Some people love it.
I think it's horrible, personally, like opening morning at a Wal-mart on Black Friday, with the same clientele, in fact...
Still, some folks love it.
