Airing down LT tires vs. P-metric

My old avalanche came w p tires stock. I used only LT on them for the same reasons, cut/puncture resistance. The avalanche weights a lot more than your Colorado so the LT were no problem. I ran them at 45-50 psi normal driving. Off road the lowest I ran them were 35psi and they were fine. When the stock GY need replacing in my GMC Canyon, I’m gonna stay w P tires. I don’t off-road much

Pretty sure the 37" Yokohamas on my JL are D.

I run 12 to 13psi on the trail. But on a stock 7.5" wheel

Switching from P237/75r17 to LT285/70r17 and I run the same air pressure as the door tag- after checking the load tables for each.

On the '18 I run stock size LT range E tires and had to go up to 48psi from the door sticker 35psi after checking the load tables.
