Air tool Grease fitting question

Hey guys,

I bought a 800ft pds Husky air impact wrench to go along with some of my other tools. I noticed it had what looked like a grease fitting for the hammers or bearings, but it is tiny compared to the regular mini fitting on my die grinder. I have verified it is infact a grease fitting because the little ball in the center does depress.

Any idea what size that is?

Maybe this is what the needle adapters are for?

pick up a chainsaw bar greaser at almost any hardware store...they can be refilled and are handy for greasing things like this.

Yeah thats what I bought, the problem is its not an IR and the hole is pretty tiny. I'm sure it will work on the die grinder I posted to compare the hole sizes, but the "needle" tip may be too big for the Impact wrench nipple. I'll give it a try when it arrives tommorow, otherwise looks like a model that has to be disaseembled to grease the hammers. When it wears out I'll pick up an IR instead - which will likely be many years down the road.

It only needs to depress the ball slightly, the IR tool should work.

I have something about like this with a grease zerk screwed into it. Cheap and it works.
Originally got it for lubing double cardan u-joints in front driveshafts on my trucks. Miracle I haven't lost that needle in 30 odd years.
