My dogs do the same for thunder. Freaks the poor things out. They want to dig a hole in the carpet and bury themselves under it. Fortunately, in the northwest we don't get a lot of thunder or lightning. Don't get me wrong (if you were addressing me that is), I love aircraft. Fighter jets especially. I don't live next to any airshows so I have no idea what my dogs would do. I do live very close to a drag strip though and those dragsters are VERY loud on some weekends. It's odd, but my dogs don't seem to mind that noise. Just explosion sounds.
