Aftermarket brake caliper kit that eliminates parking brake function. Wow!

Was the activation on purpose? I've been hearing how it's easy enough to accidentally active electric parking brakes.
No the customer asked if the electric e brake worked at speed like the cable version. My co worker wasn't 100 percent sure but yeah it works.

I'm wondering if it's a similar year from the same generation that just didn't have the parking brake in the caliper , but instead used a drum in the rotor hat ... Sure it will bolt to the knuckle, but is it the right one ...
Hyundai's front and rear calipers look really similar in design and mounting, size varies of course.. But they use the shoe type ebrakes in the rear. Cable goes though the backplate.

A parking brake is just what the name implies.
Never heard of a "handbrake turn", huh ?

I was thinking of the electric parking brake, which I consider to be almost useless and a likely maintenance issue. Yes, I love manual parking brakes.
Owners manual for my wife's car actually says this:
Pull and hold the parking brake switch if an emergency occurs and it is necessary to operate the parking brake while driving.
