in the 84 Camaro 2.8 its now "a half quart overfull" and it run better. It smokes for about 5 minutes grey smoke (either blue or black, most likely a blue of gas it takes a lot to start does not really burn oil) and then runs perfect, EGR valve is taped up, man did it suck some gas too.
I used 10w30 balvoline to top it up to overfull in case the dipstick reading was inaccurate for some reason, this engine needs an oil change anyway and it has all the MMO in the gas, a high percentage, diluted down to like 10% mmo yes 10% out of 10 gallons now
is this a placebo or is the extra half a quart overfull getting somewhere to help engine run smooth ?
previous adds were MMO in oil one pint, STP 3/-4ths a botte, and roughlt a half qquart new engine oil, and a new filtere change w/o changing oil .
