Not much to see here, just a well constructed solid filter off my Camaro SS 6.2l. ADBV pliable for nitrile. I think these filters are no brainers for $6 on Amazon. This time I forgot to order and had to pay 11 plus tax at auto zone. 😡

I just wish they went with the metal end caps throughout their whole line, My Chevy calls for PF47E which has the blend end caps, nothing wrong with them end cap design doesn't really matter it is just something I personally would want to see.

But overall I love the E-Core design, but if I was in control of design I would shrink the E-Core hole sizes by adding more smaller ones even though failures have not happened that I know of since the original re-design.

But if GM had Champ make these minor tweaks they could use these E-Core filters throughout their whole line even in performance vehicles in my opinion.

Hi Hagler,
Well done on the pics . . . thank you.

I’m all for using Delco everything for GM however the last three PF64 filters I’ve used all were different such as box, different size holes, and just looked different inside. Wondering if there are knockoffs? At least the Fram
XG10575 filters all were exactly alike.

If you were at AutoZone you should have looked for the STP equivalent, it's likely the same filter, unless they use the Premium Gaurd supplier for that application.

Varies, I order the bundle to get M1 0w40 ESPx3 discounted but I previously returned the STP XL filter. Most of the time, they send the champ XL equivalent - but those have louvers which I don't like. One time I got the PG vietnam style. I prefer these for $6. I've seen them improve this specific filter a couple times since my dads Equinox also used this filter. First they beefed up the can and later they made the gasket wider and thicker. Supertech MP looks the same but there is not much cost savings vs buying OEM. Plus, I don't go to walmart anymore.

The ACDELCO PF47E comes with fiber end caps, so if I want a filter constructed like your PF64, I have to buy a Premium Guard.
