I have to drive my Mazdaspeed6 up on some 3/4" boards before approaching the ramps...works like a charm.

Thanks to a floor jack helping keep the spoiler off the ramps as we drove it up, it turned out to be an easy job. Outside of an old Chevy 350, the easiest filter location I've seen. So my buddy's Accord has new 5W-20 Valvoline and a Supertech filter. Now I don't owe him a favor anymore and I get a pair of Mechanix gloves out of it.

So now that you've done it, how much money would you pay to have someone do it? Or, how much would you charge your friend to do it again?
I used to have a pair of Mechanix 3.0 Impact gloves, but recently I switched to ClutchGear gloves - the feedback you get with these are amazing. I used to have to take off the gloves to work with small bolts or wires, but for some reason these gloves let me feel exactly what's in my hand. At $20 a pair, they're much cheaper than the $40 Mechanix gloves too. If you do a lot of work that requires gloves, see if you have a local distributor.

That's a very good question Tosh. It wasn't bad, but using the jack to partially raise the car made it a 2-person job. Since I made hiim help, I'm not sure I could get away with charging him much. He'd be inclined to take it to the Honda dealer for their $9.99 OC special. And since he doesn't have the BITOG sickness that we do, I'm afraid I couldn't blame him.
