changed oil in 20 Accord

Changed the oil on the '20 Accord last night. Car was at 4,960mi, dumped the dealer fill of 0W-20 and took off a Honda A02 filter.

In went 5qts of Rotella Gas Truck 0W-20 and on went a Honda A02 filter. Date of RGT is Oct. 2018.

Car will be seeing a steady diet of RGT for the foreseeable future. Seems fine. No gain, no loss, just as what you'd expect. Will be sticking to a pretty strict 5k OCI.

What was the outcome of the transmission matter?

It was an oil leak, they had to re-seal the oil pan. Oddly enough, when I got under the car to change the oil, the trans looks completely different. Not as many cracks and the casting looks better. Maybe its in my head. But anyways all is good now.

5K intervals should be great. Those Honda's run forever......at least the Honda's I have owned have. Congrats on the 2020.
