AC-Delco UPF52 question

I use the above filter on my 98 chevy ext-cab Z-71 with the 5.7L. I'm having some startup knock and was wondering if this filter has an anti-drainback valve in it.

This is the synthetic media filter that AC-Delco discontinued. I have 10 left out of a case I bought last December. Thanks.

According to ACDelco they do have the drain back valve. ACDelco also told me today they still make the UPF44 and UPF52 filters.

Who sells the UPF52 filter these days? I havn't seen any around since Pepboys quit carrying them.

AC told me that you can get or order them from your local GM dealer. I'm not sure about this. What I am trying to find are some UPF1127 filters and GM dealers do not sell these.

You can purchase UPF52 ac delco oil filter at any gm dealer $12.00...( may need to order minimum quanity of 3 or 4 ), or amazon.com...$ 16.00 + freight.. took 4 weeks.. GM only makes 2 other sizes in the Ultra name... I use on my 03, and 04 Buick Lasabre Limited since new... Will fit many GM cars where PF 47 or PF 52 fit... interchangeable...

you might find some of the ones not made anymore on eBay. I recently saw some UPF2s on eBay for $12.95
