Hi all! Was looking at spark plug wires! 98 Buick lesabre.
I know their GM original, factory. And theirs AC delco...professional( junk) and gold. How close,is the Delco gold too GM original?.

The price difference on RockAuto is a whopping $2.90. Get the OEM. Personally, I'd buy those cool looking blue NGK wires for a few bucks less.

Thanks trav,I know! But would ac Delco gold be equivalent too GM original? Or is the gold a little different? I mean in general, could be any part of the car, replacement.ie, MAS sensor, hold vs original. Anything else. Gold equivalent,or slightly,or alot different?

There may be a little difference or a huge one. The OE parts have to meet the exact specs used in production of installation by dealers for repair, they are often made by the original manufacturer as long as the manufacturer is still in business. QC and parts used are generally higher quality than their second and third tier offerings.
I know the OE GM Parts were specified to have a minimum of a 112K life expectancy on non normal wear parts, second tier about half that (this is old info, I don't know if this is still applicable in 2022). Then there is stuff like this..
