AC Compressor & Desiccant pack on Sienna

It's a pack as pictured, and goes up through the bottom side of the condenser.

FSM states like 40mL for replacing the whole condenser, and does not specify the filter separately. I figured I would round down.

I was able to drain 30mL back out of the high pressure line, so now there's a total of 60mL of fresh PAG oil. I can pull the compressor back out and drain a bit more. What do you think?

Now that I fully understand your situation (i.e., you are installing a new compressor and a new dessicant pack), 90 ml. or ~3 oz. was probably correct based upon the following assessment: 30 ml. (drained from old compressor) + 30 ml (for new dessicant) + 30 ml (extra lube) = 90 ml or ~3 oz.

I apologize for making you jump through unnecessary hoops!

Gotcha! Well I'll add some oil back into the high pressure line and I'll be off to the races.

Now that I see the desiccant pack does not have an appreciable amount of oil in it, I'm going to try to do the following:

30mL for old compressor volume
30mL for "extra" (unknown, refrigerant being evacuated a few times for troubleshooting, best practices from YT)
10mL for the desiccant

so I've got 60mL now, 10 more are going into the line, and we'll go with it.

Thank you again

Charged up the system by weight (target was 785g) and we are off to the races.

System pressures at 1500rpm, ambient conditions about 85F / 80%RH: 32psi LO, 220psi HI

Driving down the road, windows closed, on recirc, hitting vent temps of 34F!

Can't say enough about how much I appreciate the great advice!
