Bought a jug of 10w30 and a Pure One filter, took them to my mechanic and while he's flushing the brake fluid and maybe the power steering fluid he's gonna change the oil. I just can't bring myself to change the oil anymore. I always make a mess and I don't like getting my hands dirty anymore, I guess I'm a wuss.

Is that Walmart SuperTech Synthetic any good?

No way I'm gonna pay $5 a quart for Mobil 1. $13 and change for 5 quarts. I figger it's gonna be in there for around 6000 miles or so, I'm reluctant to keep oil in for much longer than that. '99 Catera with 75K miles. Already been ARXed.

My Chevy liked the Supertech more than my terrier liked the dog food. The dog's exhaust was more toxic than the car's after we installed the Wal-Mart brand dog food.

6000mi, Wally oil, sure

No issues there as much as I hate to say it. It lubes ok and lasts just fine. Id probably run it over 'zoil

Good value.

It's about the cheapest A3 oil you can buy. At least in a synth....

Oh, and I can't force Ol'Roy down my dog's throat. It's a shame, too, as you can buy 797 pounds for about $12.

BrianWC - I agree. It (there dog food) I would not bring to a shelter. It is a poor poor. First thing in it is Ground Yellow Corn. Talk about junk.Lots of Corn Gluten Meal.

I feel bad for the dogs that eat it.

Oh, the walfart synthetic is $18 for 5 qts. I can get Mobil 1 Truck and SUV for $21.

It's $12 here... And good oil.

For me, I'd be buying the Halovine for $9 and all would be fine.

Sounds like an excellent fertilizer for my yard though!

Have you looked at the Fumoto valve with a hose nipple? It makes draining oil from the pan super easy and clean.

True but I have took much Lesco Poly-Plus, Dimension, Drive 75, Prograss, Momentum FX2, Chelted Iron....and much more.

If you use Ol' Roy for fertilizer, your yard will look like a scene from "The Birds." Grackles, blue jays, and house sparrows eat more of it than my dog. Squirrels don't seem to touch it, though.

Supertech Synthetic is up to $13.68 or something like that at my Wal-Mart. I've been getting cheap Maxlife Synthetic, though, so who needs it?
