My Titan manual states 80w-90 for the front diff. It's hard to find a quality gear oil where I live with that wt. Is it o.k. to use 75w-140 or 75w-90? I find these wts. everywhere. Will be using Royal Purple. I have 75w-140 in the rear diff. and that's what it calls for.

A 75W-90 will provide the same protection as an 80W-90 with better cold flow. I'd use it even if 80W-90 was readily available.

Many of the Japanese SUV's call for 80w90. Valvoline makes a syn blend 80w90 that is sold at autozone that I use and it is fine.
