AAP phasing out DW?

AAP has their Driveworks filters on sale at 50% off regardless of the style. Perhaps they are phasing them out and making way for the Carquests? To me, this would make their oil specials more appealing.
 
Interesting. Do we know of any "clones" of the DW? Is some poor factory in China going to shut down? Or will their output show up somewhere else?

CQs are wixes, plenty of those in different liveries.
 
So glad to see them discontinue the Chinese DW

Not anymore. The CQ filters are now made by Fram, but they do have metal end caps (in both the red and blue versions)

The old clearance CQ's on Rock Auto are Wix, though.

They sure are. Saw a few WIX/ Napa Gold equivs. for around $1.80 each!

They're already available lots of places-Rural King, & using other brand names (Nippon).

I hope they do because that means more orders/jobs for my fellow countrymen. The Fram/Champ made red filters are heavy.

Off topic, but Advance is now stocking Zerex. Saw it advertised on the current flyer.
