This filter is excellent for doing Auto-RX flushes seeing it has such a high capacity.

Remember the sludged up 2.7L V6, he used a Fram X2.

I love these filters.

I don't think they have screwed anybody. Fram is very open about the fact that they use cardboard end caps, they are almost proud of it. I have even seen cut away filters displayed in stores. Fram doesn't attempt to hide anything. How can they screw you when they are right up front with you before you buy their product? Their air filters have proven to be at least at the industry standard, if not better. Many people call Fram oil filters sub-standard, but with some automotive manufacturers using Fram's oil filters as fatory filters, you have to wonder if they are at the standard and everybody else is above it.

FWIW, I would take a good look at this filter before I decided not to use it. Personally, I think it looks quite impressive.

Where are the results of the SAE H806 multi-pass efficiency and capacity tests. Then we can see how it compares to a Mobil 1 and a Amsoil SDF.

Fram is tops in marketing, but I would look for the SAE tests before I buy one.
